UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Listed sites filmed from the air — a unique collection for your productions
UNESCO inscribes on its World Heritage List the natural and cultural sites of outstanding universal value — places that belong to all of humanity and that each generation has a duty to pass on to the next. Our aerial collection covers a remarkable number of these sites, filmed from helicopters and drones under often exceptional technical and authorisation conditions.
For a documentary filmmaker, an art director or a television network, having access to gyro-stabilised aerial footage of these sites — many of which are now subject to very strict overflight restrictions — represents a considerable advantage. Here are the main World Heritage Sites present in our catalogue.
Angkor, Cambodia — The world's largest complex of Buddhist and Hindu temples, lost in the heart of the tropical forest. Our aerial footage reveals the geometric organisation of the Angkor city in its full scale — a scale impossible to grasp from the ground. See our images of Angkor.
The temples of Bagan, Burma (Myanmar) — Over 2,000 temples and pagodas scattered across the Bagan plain, seen from the air at sunrise and sunset in a unique golden light. See our images of Bagan.
Lalibela, Ethiopia — The eleven monolithic churches carved from red basalt rock in the 12th century, as well as the Epiphany ceremony (Timkat) filmed from the air. See our images of Lalibela.
Mohenjo-daro and Lahore, Pakistan — The ruins of the Indus Valley Civilisation (3000 BC) and the Mughal monuments of Lahore — the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort and the Shalimar Gardens — filmed by helicopter. See our images of Mohenjo-daro — See our images of Lahore.
Canaima National Park, Venezuela — One of the world's largest protected parks, with its tepuis, waterfalls and blackwater lagoons, filmed in 4K on Arri Alexa Cineflex under exceptional shooting conditions. See our images of Canaima.
The Tsingy de Bemaraha, Madagascar — These forests of razor-sharp limestone pinnacles, unique in the world, listed as a World Heritage Site for their natural value and endemic biodiversity. See our images of the Tsingy.
The Okavango Delta, Botswana — Listed in 2014, it is one of the world's rare inland deltas, a refuge for exceptional biodiversity. Our footage covers the wildlife, channels and landscapes of this outstanding site. See our images of the Okavango.

Potosí and Sucre, Bolivia — The mining city of Potosí and its Cerro Rico, one of the greatest silver mines in history, and Sucre, the best-preserved colonial city in South America — both listed as World Heritage Sites. See our images of Potosí — See our images of Sucre.
The Panama Canal — Listed as a World Heritage Site in 2016, the Panama Canal seen from the air reveals the colossal scale of this feat of engineering — locks, Lake Gatun, cargo ships queuing to pass. See our images of the Panama Canal.
Palenque, Mexico — The Maya city of Palenque, buried in the tropical forest of Chiapas, reveals from the air the true extent of its temples and palaces, only a fraction of which has been cleared. See our images of Palenque.
