Description
Sheikhupura Fort also known as Qilla Sheikhupira is a fort near the city of Sheikhupura in Punjab, Pakistan. The fort is believed to be built by Emperor Jehangir because the Hiran Minar was also built by the Jahangir during 1607-1646. Hiran Minar is also situated in the city of Sheikhpura.
The fort dates back to the earliest Mughal Era. The fort currently is not in state of any type of visit as it is heavily damaged. It remains an amazing creation of Mughal Art.
