Flying over dry hills, rivers irrigate scarce greenery. In Madagascar, 80% of the population lives in the countryside, where life conditions are harsh. There is no access to new technologies and farmers cannot develop their land. Consequences are insufficient food, poor peasants health and income.
The highlands (1000m) cover 3/4 of the country's surface.
